Did you know the Blarney Breakfast is one of Wichita’s longest running special events? We invite you to be a part of this long-standing tradition when once again, members of Chi Epsilon of ESA Sorority along with Docuplex, Prairie Fire Coffee Roasters, Audacy, KAKE and Old Chicago East join forces to present the 49th Annual Blarney Breakfast.

All proceeds go directly to Rainbows’ Family Support Services program and Camp Woodchuck. You can help make Camp special this year by purchasing supplies needed to make it successful. Every ticket purchased makes life a little less challenging for children with special needs and their families

Walk with Rainbows in the Delano Paddy Day Parade

Show your support for Rainbows and join us as we participate in the 2024 Delano Paddy Day Parade, Saturday, March 16.

After you’ve kicked off your weekend with the 49th Annual Blarney Breakfast on Friday morning, join Rainbows’ families, volunteers and staff for more fun at Saturday’s parade.

Parade begins at noon and runs west on Douglas from McLean to Walnut Street – it’s a one mile round trip. Dress up and wear your green and your bling. The crazier the better. You can even purchase this year’s custom Blarney t-shirt here.

Let us know you are coming here so we can communicate more details as they become available.

Everyone is welcome. Strollers and wagons are encouraged; you can even hand out candy along the way if you’d like.

Don’t forget the Kids Zone from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on the north side of the roundabout.

Street Party & Food Truck Rally from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

We hope you and your family will join us!

A sweet little boy with a very gentle soul, Wyatt has autism.  “He is nonverbal, but does his best to communicate with those that he likes and loves,” said Wyatt’s dad, Bobby. “The fact that he is so sweet and gets so excited about his favorite people and activities inspires us to do better for him and to do our best to help him with the struggles autism has afforded him.”

“Wyatt is very sensitive about his surroundings and not able to use speech currently,” said Brennen Smith, Wyatt’s Targeted Case Manager. Five year old Wyatt has run off when the family was on vacation and also in a public place like a park. With donations from this year’s Blarney Breakfast, Wyatt will receive a subscription for an Angel Sense monitor, which assists with locating him if there is a crowd or if he gets too far away.

“Rainbows has impacted our lives by shining a light of hope and a positive attitude, which is all too uncommon in today’s world,” said Bobby. “It is so refreshing and inspiring to have someone come into our home, and be so encouraging to Wyatt and the rest of the family as well.”

“Rainbows is comprised of caring, genuine and thoughtful people who go out into the community and make the world a better place,” Bobby said. “They advocate, educate and inspire not only the child but also the parents and the rest of the family. It takes special people to do what they do, and they do it well in a positive, constructive way.”
