Rainbows United, Inc. Board of Directors welcome Wayne Chambers, President/CEO, High Touch, Inc.; Jose J. Sanchez, MD, Pediatrician, Wichita Clinic; and Mark Withrow, Vice President Integrated Supply Chain, Cessna Aircraft Company as new members.
Chambers brings a wealth of knowledge in technology, finance and business management to Rainbows’ Board. Dr. Sanchez represents the medical community with specific emphasis on outreach to physicians in the areas of Family Practice and Pediatrics. Withrow joins the Board with experience in restructured organizations as well as has hands on experience with fundraising and annual fund campaigns.
“Each of these talented individuals brings with them excellent experience to help move Rainbows United into our next phase of operations,” said Hale Ritchie, Chairman of the Board. “They each have a heart for children with special needs and are ready to commit to the kind of hands-on help Rainbows needs.”
Rainbows United will serve more than 3,400 children birth – 21 with special needs or at risk throughout Sedgwick and Butler counties this year. Rainbows is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children with special needs and their families by bringing together community resources and providing customized services as they have been for the past 39 years.
